The collection contains letters, poems and articles, and clippings. The letters, written from New York and California to classmates Martha Hawkins (Norman) and Eleanor Goodhall Vonnegut, deal with Flanner's life in these two places; memories of Indianapolis and the Tudor Hall School; and news of her sister Janet Flanner, a writer for the NEW YORKER. Also included are published poems and articles and clippings about Flanner, and one folder of material about Janet Flanner.
